This badge provides students with shareable recognition of their ability to utilize CAD software, by challenging them to complete a series of practice activities before submitting an assessed piece of digital evidence, coupled with the completion of a rigorous onscreen assessment.
To help students achieve accreditation, we provide:

• An age-appropriate challenge for the student to design and make for, suitable for 3D printing and/or laser cutting (suitable to complete in one day, or over 6 x 1 hr lessons)

• A series of training resources, providing the foundations the students need to develop.

• A combination of digital and physical activities to stretch students and mirror industry.

• An onscreen assessment that tests the students’ knowledge, understanding and application, using industry appropriate language and contexts.

• The opportunity to utilize the best free software available to education.
